A huge “Thank You” to Kaitlyn Jannetta at The Fish Society for sharing their popular recipe for Garlic Mussel Gratin.
This recipe uses A Fish Society Bag of Half Shell Green Lipped mussels and creates a delicious crispy golden crumb, garlic and parsley topping.
Serves 2 – Beginner Level – Ready in 15 mins
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bag of half shell green lipped mussels
250g butter at room temperature
5 cloves of garlic, grated
handful of parsley, finely chopped
1 cup of breadcrumbs
LET’S COOK!
Step 1
In a bowl combine the butter, finely grated garlic and chopped parsley
Step 2
Spoon a teaspoon of butter in top of each mussel and sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs
Step 3
Grill under a hot grill for 4-5 mins until crumb is golden brown and mussels are hot through
